Yummy, yummy in my tummy!

This weekend I had a friend over and we made the most awesome "pop tarts" and...drum roll...Butter Beer just like in Harry Potter! Don't worry, this is a kid's drink.

Don't think of the normal frosted Pop Tarts. Think of flaky puff pastry, chocolate filling, and a homemade glaze. They were perfectly cooked and awesome. We used the leftover dough to make mini cinnamon rolls. Delicious!

In December we visited Harry Potter World in Disney World and we discovered the wondrous drink, Butter Beer. It tastes really sweet, so it's a really great kids' drink. We felt right at home there, just like we were wizards, too. I even got a wand just like Hermione.

Hi, I'm Courtney. I'm 11 years old. I just got a professional camera for Christmas. I love arts and crafts, and photography is my new hobby. I get to take lots of pictures of many things, but so far, animals and flowers are my favorites.

Penny, the white dog in the picture, gets in trouble a lot, but we all still love her. She has a shaggy look and a big heart. The cat is Puddy Tat. He's a Persian Himalayan, and he has the attitude of a lion. He knocks things down for Penny to chew, which is why she's always in trouble.

Most of these pictures came from our

back yard. I'm only 11, so I can't go far, but I've discovered an amazing world through the lens of my new camera. I'm allowed to go far as long as my parents are with me, and I have my dog and my cat by my side. Penny and Puddy Tat follow us all through the woods during our photo shoots.
